Amreen Ayub

Amreen Ayub is a Senior Associate in the firm's Mining Law, Corporate, and Banking and Debt Finance teams, based in the Dar es Salaam office. She joined Clyde & Co Tanzania in January 2018 and has gained significant experience advising local and international clients in the mining, corporate, and banking and finance sectors.

Notable matters include advising Mahenge Resources Limited on its USD 179 million loan from CRDB Bank PLC, DBSA, and IDC to develop the Mahenge Graphite Project, advising Panda Hill and Kabanga Nickel on their Framework Agreements with the Government of Tanzania, and advising RIU Hotels & Resorts on its USD 56.5 million acquisition of Renco (Zanzibar) Limited. She also advised Kilombero Sugar Company on a USD 100 million facility for a new sugar processing factory and Lifezone Metals Limited on USD 50 million convertible debentures.

Amreen is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society. She is also a registered arbitrator with the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb).
