Melinda Emmanuel

Melinda Emmanuel is an Associate in the corporate services department, specialising in corporate governance and company secretarial services in Bowmans' Dar es Salaam office. She provides corporate services to Tanzanian companies, including subsidiaries of local and international companies, advising on regulatory and compliance matters.

She has assisted in migrating company information into BRELA's ORS, prepared advice on rectifications of company records and winding up of companies, and attended and recorded minutes of board and shareholder meetings. She acts as company secretary for numerous companies, including BASF Tanzania, The Oil & Gas Association of Tanzania (OGAT), SBC Tanzania Limited, ABB Tanzania Limited, and Shanta Mining Co Limited. She has also prepared and drafted various legal documents for regulatory and compliance matters, advised on incorporation and regulatory matters for companies and NGOs, prepared advice on employee terminations, drafted mutual separation agreements, and assisted in the preparation of statutory registers and share certificates.

Melinda holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
