Brian Mambosho

Brian Mambosho is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in commercial litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has extensive experience representing clients in complex disputes across construction, mining, aviation, shipping, and regulatory compliance matters, as well as in ship arrests and international arbitration proceedings.

He has acted for Alliance and Precision Airways in major aviation liability claims following a crash, for De la Rue International in compelling the Central Bank of Tanzania to refloat a GBP 275 million tender, and for Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania Limited in disputes involving claims of over USD 300 million relating to gas block ownership. He has also represented Hertz International, Boge Kompressoren, Maersk Line, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, and Standard Chartered Bank, among others, in high‑stakes commercial disputes and debt recovery matters.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Academic Law and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Mysore, a Master of Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. He is a member of the Tanzania Law Society, the Zanzibar Law Society, and the East African Law Society. He is recognised by The Legal 500 as a Leading Associate (2025‑2026) and previously as a Rising Star (2022‑2024).
