Daudi Ramadhani

Daudi Ramadhani is a Partner at REX Advocates, specialising in Corporate Law, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, mining, oil and gas, and commercial litigation. He advises corporate clients across various industries, including banking, mining, energy, and telecommunications, on regulatory compliance, project financing, corporate structuring, and contractual matters.

He has been actively involved in advising lead banks in several syndicated and project financing transactions and lead arrangers in corporate bond issues. He was part of the team that advised on the acquisition of a leading oil and gas company in Tanzania, particularly on antitrust, upstream regulatory approvals, and tax‑related matters. He has also conducted legal due diligences, prepared legal opinions, drafted and reviewed contractual documents, and advised on company set‑up and regulatory licensing. He also has experience in commercial and civil litigation, as well as ICC international commercial arbitration.

Daudi holds an LL.M in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town and is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
