Samah Salah

Samah Salah is a Partner at IMMMA Advocates, with over 18 years of experience in civil and corporate commercial litigation and arbitration, specialising in arbitration and mediation. She has successfully represented top-tier companies, including aviation companies, insurance companies, energy and mining companies, commercial banks, and telecommunications companies in corporate commercial litigation in both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.

She has also represented local and international companies in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings, including enforcement and challenges to recognition of arbitral awards under ICC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL rules. She has advised companies and international NGOs, including Save the Children, Pathfinder International, Norwegian Refugee Council, and Catholic Relief Services, on employment and labour relations, including terminations, collective bargaining agreements, strikes, and employee transfers following mergers and acquisitions, and has provided training on employment law.

Samah is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East African Law Society.
