Alan Nlawi Kileo

Alan Nlawi Kileo is the Managing Partner at Beako Law, based in the Dar es Salaam office, practicing in Tax Law. He has a passion for tax and extensive experience in tax advisory, consultation, and representation. After graduating from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2007, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an Associate Tax Consultant, later becoming a Senior Tax Consultant, before joining Ako Law in 2011 (a firm affiliated with Clyde & Co) where he handled high-profile tax advisory and complex litigation matters in Banking, Mining, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, and Insurance.

With Ako Law, Alan rose from Legal Officer to Legal Director and later to Managing Partner. He has co-authored a book titled "Tax Dispute Resolution – Manual for Tax Practitioners" and is greatly acknowledged by local and multinational companies for his tax advisory and representation work.

He holds an LLB from the University of Dar es Salaam and an LLM in Revenue Law and Administration. He is an Advocate and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society.
