Emma Kimario

Emma Kimario is a Senior Associate at Dentons East Africa Law Chambers, specialising in energy law, mining and natural resources, and corporate and commercial law. She provides legal advice on multi‑party transactions with a focus on energy‑related contractual, regulatory, finance, and investment matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and commercial arrangements.

Emma assists clients with corporate and industry‑specific regulatory compliance, negotiation and review of legal agreements, and preparation of legal due diligence reports, particularly in connection with acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial arrangements. She also has broad experience in employment and labour matters, as well as dispute resolution and litigation, helping clients find resolutions and mitigate risks in employment relations and compliance.

Emma holds an LL.M and an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Dar es Salaam. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
