Thomas Sipemba

Thomas Sipemba is a Partner at Dentons EALC East African Law Chambers and heads the Firm's Energy and Natural Resources practice, specialising in energy law, mining and natural resources, and environmental law. He is regarded as one of Tanzania's leading mining lawyers, with significant sector knowledge gained from his experience as in-house counsel at one of the country's most prominent mining companies.

Thomas has advised on high-value and complex mining, oil, gas, and energy projects in Tanzania. His practice also includes advising on insurance-related legal and regulatory matters, giving him a strong understanding of regulated industries and the commercial issues that shape them. He is qualified as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and the High Court of Zanzibar.

Thomas holds an LL.M and an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
