Flora Mukasa

Flora Mukasa is an Associate in the Corporate Department at Bowmans' Dar es Salaam office, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate and financing transactions, including syndicated lending, project finance, regulatory compliance, and corporate advisory matters.

She has advised a syndicate of lenders (Stanbic Bank Tanzania Ltd, NMB Bank Plc, National Bank of Commerce Limited and Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania Limited) on a TZS 215 billion syndicated term loan facility to Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, Walkabout Resources Limited on a USD 25 million senior debt facility for the construction of the Lindi Jumbo Graphite mine, and British International Investment on a USD 15 million facility to National Bank of Commerce and a USD 5 million facility to the same bank. She has also advised Fairfax Financial Holdings on a complex multi‑jurisdictional funding in relation to a USD 25 million facility to African Banking Corporation Tanzania, and advised Stanbic Bank Tanzania on a TZS 70 billion medium‑term loan facility to Airtel Tanzania PLC. She has also advised Facebook, Mastercard, Microsoft and Google on data protection and regulatory issues in Tanzania.

Flora holds a Post‑Graduate Diploma from the Law School of Tanzania and an LL.B from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society.
