Kelvin Mosha

Kelvin Mosha is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Banking & Finance practice at Bowmans, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He advises clients on corporate, banking and finance, and mining transactions, with a strong focus on structuring, negotiating, and executing high‑value transactions across Tanzania.

He has advised Stanbic Bank Tanzania Ltd, NMB Bank Plc, and National Bank of Commerce Limited on a TZS 215 billion syndicated term loan facility to Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, and Société Générale on a USD 300 million secured revolving borrowing base facility to IXM SA. He also advised FMO and Proparco on a USD 125 million loan facility to NMB Bank, and SBA Communications Corporation and Paradigm Infrastructure Limited on the acquisition of Airtel Tanzania’s telecom tower portfolio for approximately USD 175 million. He also advised IFC on its USD 10 million investment in Sub‑Saharan Africa's first gender bond issuance, and advised Facebook, Mastercard, Microsoft, and Google on a range of regulatory issues in Tanzania, including data protection and processing.

Kelvin holds an LL.M (Corporate and Commercial Law) from the University of Dar es Salaam and an LL.B (Hons) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) and the East African Law Society (EALS). He is rated as a Rising Star for Banking and Finance by IFLR1000 (2023‑2025).
