Gasper Nyika

Gaspar Nyika is a Senior Partner at IMMMA Advocates and co-heads the Litigation, Arbitration and Tax department, specialising in commercial litigation, arbitration, and tax dispute resolution. He has over a decade of experience in commercial arbitration before international forums and tribunals, and has successfully tried more than 30 cases in the High Courts of Tanzania and the Court of Appeal.

He has represented multinational corporations in a range of disputes, including breach of contract, employment law, debt collection, securities, consultancy and construction contracts, and general commercial matters. He has also acted for clients in more than 100 cases, including 20 tax disputes involving income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international taxation issues, and has appeared before the Tax Revenue Appeals Board, the Tax Tribunal, and the Court of Appeal.

Gaspar holds an LL.B (details not specified). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East African Law Society.
