Samwel Ernest Mangesho

Adv. Samwel Ernest Mangesho is an Advocate and Partner practicing in Banking and Finance Law, based in Tanzania. He brings more than a decade of combined legal and banking sector experience, specializing in litigation, banking and financial law, debt recovery, company secretarial services, industrial relations, and contract drafting and review.

Mr. Mangesho served at Makoa Law Chambers and ILO before joining NBC in 2010. He later worked as Legal Manager-Litigation at KCB Bank, then at Commercial Bank of Africa (Tanzania), and eventually at NCBA Bank Tanzania as Senior Manager Loan Recovery. He has overseen high-level debt recovery, strategic litigation, compliance oversight, and performance management of external legal teams across corporate, SME, and personal banking portfolios.

He holds an LL.B from Tumaini University (2007) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. He is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, the East African Law Society, and the Iringa University Law Society Alumni.
