Imani Mselle

Imani Mselle is a Senior Associate in the Dar es Salaam office, practicing in the firm's Banking and Finance Law practice. He advises local and international clients on Tanzanian laws and regulatory issues across sectors including tax, projects and construction, banking and finance, oil and gas, mining, telecommunications, and insurance.

Mr. Mselle has significant experience advising lenders and borrowers on complex financing transactions. He has advised FMO and PROPARCO on a USD 125 million loan facility to NMB Bank, a syndicate of Tanzanian banks on a USD 100 million facility to Kilombero Sugar Company, and the International Finance Corporation on multiple facilities to CRDB Bank and NMB Bank. He has also advised on acquisitions, port concession agreements, regulatory licensing, and tax affairs for multinational clients.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Mzumbe University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania, and a Master of Arts in Revenue Law and Administration from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, and a registered Tax Consultant with the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
